The Seven Abductors

The Seven Abductors are the forces and things that steal the very things people need in order to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives. These abductors can take many forms—fears, addictions, toxic relationships, shame, self-doubts, traumas, unhealthy beliefs, or other destructive influences. Whatever their form, they rob people of essential needs such as love, belonging, purpose, security, hope, freedom, and self-worth.

This book helps readers identify the needs that matter most to them and recognize the abductors that threaten those needs. More importantly, it provides practical strategies for protecting those needs and reclaiming what has been stolen.

Almost everyone has a story about an abductor. Many people can point to a time when something or someone took away their confidence, their peace of mind, their sense of purpose, or their ability to connect with others. Yet many of those same people also have stories of resilience, recovery, and transformation.
